With general supervision, the Meetings & Events Planner plays a critical role in managing and producing all major company meetings and events including national business meetings, national tradeshows, customer appreciation events, incentive travel and other meetings/events as needed. • Post-event duties, including: reporting and reconciliation, invoice reconciliation, charge backs and expense analysis, suggest recommendations for continuous improvement and increasing cost/process efficiencies • Effectively interface with a diverse group of internal and external personnel to include senior management, manufacturers, sales organization, key customers, trade associations, vendors, etc. • On-site execution, to include management of all the above focused on the Customer Experience • Performs other related duties as assigned • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word • Must be able to execute within deadlines and budgets
