Event Planner

You will play a pivotal role in planning and executing campus-wide events that bring together students, employers, graduate school representatives, and speakers. Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships, providing exceptional service, and creating unforgettable experiences for our diverse community. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and execute marketing initiatives to engage students and employers • Create effective strategies to serve both students and employers through in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats • Craft event budgets and monitor expenses and revenue against approved allocations • Liaise with various campus entities to support publicity and promotional plans • Lead an operational team for large-scale events to ensure quality planning and delivery of services Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience/training • 4-7 years of relevant experience • Highly developed interpersonal communication skills, including political acumen and social perceptiveness • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with diverse populations • Skill in effectively meeting time constraints • Ability to give clear directives and use independent judgment to make optimal decisions About Us: We are a vibrant and diverse community that values innovation, excellence, and inclusivity.
