Event Planner

Job Summary

Henry’s is seeking a highly driven and organized Event Planner to lead and execute private events, parties, and large-scale gatherings that define our guest experience. This role is built for someone who thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and understands how to balance logistics, client relationships, and execution at a high level.

As Event Planner, you will take ownership of the full event lifecycle, from initial client interaction to final execution. You will play a critical role in shaping how guests experience Henry’s beyond a typical night out, ensuring every event aligns with our brand, energy, and reputation in Charleston.

We are looking for someone who is both detail-oriented and proactive. Someone who can manage multiple moving parts, communicate clearly with clients, and execute events flawlessly under pressure.

Compensation & Opportunity

Base Salary: $40,000 annually
Commission: 10% on booked events
Additional performance-based incentives available
Health benefits available after 60 days

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute private parties and special events
Organize wedding after-parties and large-scale gatherings
Manage event logistics from booking through execution
Work directly with clients to understand and deliver their vision
Oversee timelines, vendors, staffing, and event setup
Ensure seamless execution and high-quality guest experiences
Coordinate with internal teams to align operations and service
Manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Support event sales efforts by building strong client relationships
Maintain organization across all event-related communication and planning

Qualifications

Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple events at once in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on execution and follow-through
Prior experience in events, hospitality, or nightlife preferred
Ability to work nights and weekends as required by event schedules
Strong problem-solving ability and adaptability under pressure
Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
