We are looking for a motivated & Experienced Event Planner to assist in our Event Planning. Duties of the Event Planner include meeting with potential clients, menu planning, proposals, tastings, event staff scheduling and on site event assistance. Must have excellent people and communication skills, be able to work closely with others in a small TeamExecute events on site with a catering Team or get the client set up with the catering teamDirect point of contact with clients' through all stages from initial contact, proposal negotiations and finalized booking of catering and event salesConduct site visits and in office tastings and meetings with clients.Requirements: Office management duties: use of in-house catering software (Caterease) , phone and email correspondence (outlook)Create proposals uniquely designed to fit each clients specific vision of their event in all aspects; food and beverage, floor plan and rentals.Assist in daily coordination of event set up / delivery logisticsExecute events on site with a catering Team or get the client set up with the catering teamCreate and execute the design for each food set up specific to each eventPay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Proven experience in event planning and managementStrong communication and customer service skillsExcellent time management and organizational abilitiesProficiency in budgeting and financial oversight for eventsFamiliarity with catering services and banquet operationsBackground in hospitality, including hotel or restaurant experienceAbility to negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationshipsJob Type: Full-time
