This is a remote role working CST time zone.Event Planner – What Will I be Doing?You will be working on a variety of large corporate clients organising a variety of events for their teams, that require accommodation and event spaceThere will be a lot of Room Block ManagementYou will coordinate and execute these events from start to finish.You will be working in CST Time ZoneManage event logistics: sourcing, negotiating, contracts, payments, and reconciliation.Maximize income through negotiation and cost savings.Collaborate with key clients in order to successfully meet their business objectives and exceed expectations20% - 30% of your time will require travelling across the US and Mexico with some European Travel tooEvent Planner – What experience do I need ?It is essential that you have good experience in using the event management platform Cvent.Lots of experience of Room Block ManagementProven event planning experience working with large corporate clients (min 2 years)Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.Self‑motivated with enthusiasm for work.Excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.Good influencing skills and ability to remain calm in stressful situations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management tools and venue source software.Event Planner – What else do I need to know?This is a fully remote role and can be based anywhere in the USA working Monday to Friday but you will be working 08.30am - 5pm PST time zone. There is a comprehensive benefits package and annual bonus as well as the opportunity to attend “fam trips”. The team are supportive and friendly and have onsite meet ups regularly.
