Event Planner - $21.75 to $32.25 per HOUR

The Event Planner role at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley is an essential position within the Resource Development team designed to support the organization's fundraising efforts. As an Event Planner, you will orchestrate a variety of events such as fundraising galas, donor receptions, community outreach programs, and other special events that embody the ethos of the Boys & Girls Clubs. Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university Three years minimum experience managing events for a nonprofit organization Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills Exceptional attention to detail Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to make decisions with professional and open communication Experience with CRM systems Customer and outcomes-driven focus Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in fast paced situations Proficiency in professional verbal, written and presentation communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work some weeknights and weekends Willingness to travel occasionally OysterLink - a hiring platform for restaurants and hotels.
