The position is also responsible for client and event management through event completion. This position is fast-paced and provides tremendous opportunity for learning and development within the events industry. • Sell venue services such as event coordination, scissor lift, photo booth and any other additional venue features; manage and set up appropriate services on event day • Venue liaison for clients upon booking and ensure less than a one business day response time to client emails or phone calls • Work directly with clients, vendors and guests on event day to address venue related questions or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction and prompt problem resolution • Knowledgeable in venue services, operations, and contract terms to ensure event success • Compile all necessary forms and documents by event as required by venue contract, venue operations and/or local ordinances • Schedule all venue hourly staff using company scheduling platform • Onsite for events from load in until scheduled timed of departure • Schedule and host venue walkthroughs, private meetings, and rehearsals with clients • Organize and host venue community & marketing events, as well as Walk-through Wednesdays • Create and finalize detailed event specific BEOs for Event Manager and/or hourly support • Partner with the Beverage Concierge to assist with in-person client beverage needs, meetings, tastings, etc. • Event venue or event coordination experience preferred • Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in an event venue • Ability to crowd control, and regularly mediate stressful situations, often involving intoxicated guests • Must be at least 21 years of age • Availability on evenings, weekends, and Wednesdays (team office day) required • Passion for building a great team and ensuring customer satisfaction • Google Applications knowledge • Embraces new technologies and softwares • Strong knowledge of social media platforms • Strong written communication skills • Ability to troubleshoot problems with immediate resources, multi-task and delegate • Ability to recruit, develop, manage and motivate team members • Must have reliable transportation, cell phone and working computer • Must be able to stand for long periods of time • Must wear black, or approved business casual, clothing during events • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • Appropriate and up-to-date local alcohol certification(s) required
