Reporting to the Director of Events and Food & Beverage, this hands-on position coordinates a variety of events being hosted at Monticello's venue spaces, including weddings, social functions, and corporate events, in addition to assisting with public and private events hosted by Monticello, such as July 4th and Founder's Day. The Event Planner will arrange details of all events consistent with Monticello's standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with three to five years of progressively responsible professional experience in event, meeting and/or conference planning is required. Strong attention to detail and flawless organizational skills are crucial for success. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be available to work non-traditional shifts such as evenings, weekends, and holidays.
