Event Planner - Non Profit The major responsibilities and daily functions of this role include: Events Planning and Management • Work closely with the Senior Manager of Events and Communications to plan and • execute development events, including conferences, donor engagement events, advisory board meetings, local parlor meetings, missions, and retreats • Plan and execute select marquee events for educational divisions • Managing staff at events, coordinating across departments • Budget management: Create and manage the event budget, allocate funds, monitor expenses, and ensure the event stays within budget • Liaise with vendors, and staff, negotiate contracts, and build relationships • Keep event plans on schedule and ensure events are carried out successfully • Turn the event vision into a memorable experience for attendees • Assist with design and development of collateral materials and webpages to support campaigns • Work closely with graphic designers to create new branding and marketing materials, both digital and physical. Experience: • Nonprofit management: 1 year (Required) • Event planning: 1 year (Required)
