As an Event Planner, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a wide range of events that align with Amalgamated Bank's commitment to social responsibility. Essential Job Functions • Event Strategy and Planning: • Develop and implement comprehensive event strategies that align with the bank's objectives • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand event goals, target audience, and desired outcomes • Conduct thorough research to identify suitable venues, vendors, and partners • Create detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation • Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, contract negotiation, and vendor management • Event Execution and Management: • Lead the end-to-end execution of events, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reports to stakeholders • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and partners to ensure all event requirements are met • Oversee event registration (if needed), attendee management, and communication to ensure a positive participant experience • Monitor event progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement contingency plans as needed • Stakeholder Engagement: • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, community partners, and sponsors • Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote events and ensure consistent messaging • Liaise with speakers, presenters, and sponsors to ensure their needs are met and their participation is seamless • Act as a representative of the bank at events, fostering positive relationships and promoting our brand • Sustainability and Social Responsibility: • Integrate sustainable practices into event planning, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and responsible sourcing • Identify opportunities to incorporate social responsibility initiatives into events, such as charitable partnerships or community engagement activities • Measure and report on the environmental and social impact of events, aligning with the bank's ESG reporting requirements • Event Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess event success and gather feedback for future improvements • Analyze event data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of events in achieving social responsibility goals • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance event planning strategies The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
