Salary: $65k + commission based on experience Schedule: Monday through Friday 10am - 6pm + as needed on the weekends Job Responsibilities: • Drive revenue by generating sales by booking events and catering across all of our locations but with a focus on Washington, DC (NY, NJ, CHI, PA, FL, PR) • Come up with creative ways to bring in new clients • Increase awareness and drive additional business to specific venues through outreach to local businesses, social groups and organizations • Actively solicit new business opportunities by effective outreach sales calls and emails to potential clients • Attend and participate in networking events as well as research market and industry trends • Work directly with venue managers and staff to plan and execute successful events • Monitor sales generated by bookings and continually develop strategies to improve and adjust to those changes to hit quarterly sales quotas • Handle client and internal inquiries in a timely manner • Manage records of sales, revenue, and other important data • Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment • Maintain Sushi By Bou Company Standards and exhibit gracious hospitality Requirements: • Excellent written and communication skills • High energy and persuasive personality • Highly organized and effective with problem solving • Ability to excel working in a fast-paced environment • Minimum 3 years experience with planning and executing successful events (preferably in the restaurant/hospitality industry) • Must have a passion for food and people • Must be effective working remotely Job Type: Full-time
