This role will be responsible for planning and executing in-person and virtual events, including booking venues and speakers, planning and coordinating agendas, as well as managing various logistical, technical, and financial details associated with small to large-scale special events. What You Will Be Doing: • Assist in establishing an events strategy across the organization that effectively reinforces the company's purpose, mission, values, and key business goals, and builds engagement among our Team Members • Organize, plan, and execute the coordination of company events & activities • Take the lead on planning and coordinating all logistics for Savage’s annual Leaders Forum – a multi-day conference for leaders at Savage • Act as a liaison with outside vendors for printing, video, electronic or virtual production, and other resources needed for projects and events • Partner with other departments and committees across the organization to support their events and coordinate company activities • Establish key metrics/develop key relationships with Team Members to evaluate the success of events, and adjust accordingly • Assist with organizing and implementing volunteer activities • Assist the communications and marketing departments with other initiatives as needed What You'll Need To Be Successful: • 7+ years of event planning and management experience • Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing, English, or related field is preferred • Commitment to Savage values (Do the right thing.
