Event Planner and Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Event Planner and Coordinator to plan, coordinate and manage various events. To be successful in this role, you will need: • a high school diploma or GED; • four years of experience in planning, coordinating, and promoting special events in a large public assembly facility; • a Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, marketing, or a closely related field may be substituted for two years of the required experience. Skills and Qualifications • Excellent communication and project management skills; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Strong organizational and time management skills; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software; • Knowledge of event planning principles and practices; • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
