Family Service Director Role At CFCS, our Family Service Directors provide exceptional care and guidance to families navigating the process of selecting At-Need Funeral products and services. Duties and Responsibilities • Collaborate with families, Funeral Assistants, and Preparation Room staff to ensure seamless service delivery • Maintain a thorough understanding of the Catholic faith, rituals, and traditions, as well as the Order of Christian Funerals • Provide expert advice on funeral services, ceremonies, and case management • Cultivate strong relationships with internal departments and external providers to facilitate efficient coordination Requirements • College degree preferred, or 2-4 years of experience in customer-facing roles requiring direct contact with the public • Knowledge of funeral services, ceremonies, and case management • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and telephone skills • Able to multitask, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and work under pressure • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent time management skills • Proficient in computer software and technology • Bilingualism preferred • Ability to lift/move objects up to 100 lbs. and push/pull up to 300 lbs.
