Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and organized Event Planner to serve families with care and dignity in our Lafayette, US location. The successful candidate will demonstrate CFCS' Core Values - Share the Journey, Serve with Care, and Make It Happen - in all interactions with families, staff, and internal/external contacts. This role involves working closely with families, funeral assistants, preparation room staff, and other internal/external personnel/departments to ensure seamless service delivery. • Education & Experience: College degree preferred, 2-4 years in a customer service role requiring direct contact with the public (telephone and face-to-face) • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Catholic faith, rituals, and traditions; Order of Christian Funerals; excellent interpersonal, communication, and telephone skills; ability to multi-task and manage several cases simultaneously • Working knowledge of funeral services, ceremonies, and case management; highly organized, detail oriented, and excellent time management skills; proficient in computers, software, and technology Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate with families, staff, and external providers to deliver exceptional service • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies • Provide support to funeral directors, assistants, and other team members as needed
