Preferred Hiring Qualifications: • Event planning experience and certifications • Effective oral and written communication skills • Experience with various event registration and management platforms (25Live, EMS, Momentus, CVENT, etc) • Experience or knowledge of managing large catering orders • Experience working in a higher education setting • Knowledge of event planning practices, procedures, and operations • Ability to develop or update materials using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc) • Effective time management and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities, attention to detail, and excellent customer services This position may be designated as a Campus Security Authority, ensuring that reported crimes are routed to the appropriate University office.
