This is a Salaried position.OverviewPOSITION SUMMARY: The Event Planner coordinates the planning, development, and execution of events across OSF HealthCare. Night and weekend work required at times, along with the ability to travel to any OSF location (Illinois and Michigan).QualificationsRequired QualificationsEducation: BachelorsExperience:3 years' experience in event planningExperience handling multiple projects and work assignments, with little supervisionExperience in preparing accurate budgets and effectively managing expenses; Experience with public speakingOther skills/knowledge:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.Preferred QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related fieldExperience: Knowledge of event management technologies and customer relationship management software; Working knowledge of audio visual equipmentOther requirements/information:Some night and weekend workAbility to travelExcellent writing, proof reading, and speaking skillsDemonstrated ability to problem solve in a changing, fast-paced environment with numerous deadlines; Excellent organizational and planning skillsDemonstrated ability to influence and coordinate the efforts of other team members in support of eventsOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
