Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Planner to coordinate and execute a variety of events, including corporate functions, weddings, fundraisers, and social gatherings. Responsibilities • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for each event • Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, layouts, and vendor coordination • Negotiate contracts with venues, caterers, decorators, and other vendors to secure the best terms • Coordinate event marketing efforts to promote events effectively across various channels • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality • Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring all elements are executed as planned • Upsell additional services such as catering upgrades or entertainment options to enhance client experience • Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after events to ensure client satisfaction • Handle guest services and resolve any issues promptly during the event • Maintain strong organizational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously with attention to detail • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and venue policies Experience • Proven experience in event planning, event marketing, or related hospitality roles such as banquet, restaurant, or hotel management • Strong background in negotiation, contracts, catering, and fundraising activities • Experience with guest services and delivering high-quality hospitality experiences • Familiarity with budgeting, time management, and events management software is preferred • Prior experience in catering coordination or working within the hospitality industry will be considered advantageous • Excellent communication skills combined with superior organizational abilities are essential for success in this role Join our team as an Event Planner to craft unforgettable events that leave lasting impressions.
