ACE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, founded in 2000 in Denver, Colorado, to provide low-income children with equal access to quality K-12 private schools through partial scholarship support. is to provide children of low-income families with scholarships to private schools in grades K-12, and to advocate for expanded school choice. The Event Planner will work closely with the National Events Manager and other members of the team to produce a variety of events across all ACE Scholarships markets, including board meetings, cocktail receptions, large scale fundraising events, and additional events as they arise. Under the direction of the National Events Manager, support the growing event needs of the organization across all states, including event communications and other responsibilities as needed. Knowledge of, and passion for, school choice and ACE Scholarships mission Mission-centered, strategic execution of the above job roles and responsibilities Ability to work closely with team members to achieve strategic objectives Strong work ethic, cheerfulness and overall professionalism Effective and constant communication to teammates, as well as with key stakeholders Compliance with all internal policies and procedures Strong attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal communication skills Strong time management skills, analytical and decision-making skills along with considerable tact and diplomacy Confident in writing skills and ability to draft talking points Self-starter with ability to identify problems, and develop and implement solutions Ability to manage multiple projects and, when necessary, respond rapidly to external events Minimum Requirements
