The Social Program will be multi‑faceted and reflect groups’ and individuals’ interests and needs and provide programming that focuses on the six dimensions of wellness: emotional, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, and vocational. Through resident feedback and involvement, interest questionnaires, and staff input the Event Planner/Social Director will develop a well‑tailored program that includes, but is not limited to, themed events, educational opportunities, social functions, spiritual opportunities, day trips, cultural outings, lectures, informational meetings, and volunteer opportunities. The Event Planner/Social Director will develop and continually update a file of resources available in the surrounding community to utilize and enhance the programming options available to residents. Works within the campus programs to promote safety and the well‑being of all residents and employees.Upholds the campus’s Mission Statement.Maintains HIPAA standards and regards all medical or healthcare information pertaining to residents and employees as confidential.Establishes a yearly calendar of social events for the marketing department and publishes yearly calendar for distribution.An ongoing program of activities will be designed and provided to meet the resident’s interests and needs.
