This position is ideal for someone passionate about event coordination, community engagement, and hospitality. You will gain hands-on experience in planning, organizing, and executing events that enhance experience and corporate culture.This is unpaid and is for Summer semester course credit, with a 20-hour/week requirement. The candidate will report to the Philadelphia office.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESEvent Curation: Plan and execute engaging community events that foster connection among residents, such as themed socials, wellness activities, and networking gatherings.Corporate Event Assistance: Support the planning and logistics of internal corporate events, including team-building activities, celebrations, and meetings.-Led Clubs: Assist in organizing and promoting -led clubs and activities, ensuring they align with community interests and company values.Vendor Coordination: Research, communicate with, and coordinate vendors for event needs such as catering, entertainment, and decor.Event Promotion: Work with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns to maximize event attendance and engagement.Budget Tracking: Assist in managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution.Logistical Support: Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring a smooth experience for attendees.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSCurrent Enrollment: Must be a junior or senior student pursuing a degree in Event Planning, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Attention to Detail: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure seamless event execution.Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.Creativity & Initiative: Ability to generate fresh ideas for engaging events and take initiative in executing them.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
