Job Title : Event Planner Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required in agriculture, sustainability, environmental science, education, communications, or related field • Ability to engage and influence a wide variety of audiences and stakeholders on complex topics • Demonstrate strength in coordinating internal and external events • Project management and leadership skills • Strength in scientific communication • Experience in hospitality • Experience generating persuasive and impactful content • Previous experience with large meetings and audio-visual setups is a plus Knowledge/Skills: • Strong networking skills • Experience hosting groups of people for events and/or through educational programming • Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams • MUST HAVE Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking across various audiences • Ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment, with competing priorities • Ability to work autonomously given some initial direction • Ability to generate support from others and work well within diverse teams • Comfort troubleshooting technical software and equipment • Familiarity with MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
