Event Planning Administrative Assistant

LHH Recruitment is hiring a temporary Event Planner for a 3-4 month project for a Client in Overland Park, KS. This role... will require you to work on-site Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with occasional work on Saturdays (average of once/month for up to 4 hours) and will pay $20-23/hour based on experience. Duties/Responsibilities: • Consult with the committee to understand event needs, including staffing, venues, catering, security, and other specialized requirements. • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Meeting, and Event Planning, or a related field preferred • At least 2-3 years of experience in event or meeting planning
