Event Coordinator Job Description As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the Event Manager in planning and executing events at our facility. Key responsibilities include coordinating room, food, and beverage needs for convention center events, serving as primary or secondary contact for clients, and ensuring event execution meets client expectations. • Assist Marketing Director in achieving sales and marketing goals • Use sales and marketing principles to promote the facility • Advise and counsel clients on event details and logistics • Quote rates and prepare contracts Essential Duties: • Meet with internal departments to discuss event requirements • Hold pre-event meetings and keep clients informed of schedule deadlines • Communicate with clients and internal departments to review event logistics • Respond to client inquiries and direct them to appropriate departments • Advise clients on operational procedures, policies, and regulations
