About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Programs and Events Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of institutional events, from planning and logistics to execution and evaluation. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and coordinate events, including conferences, seminars, and networking receptions • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote events, including email marketing and social media promotion • Manage event budgets and process invoices for vendors and suppliers • Ensure timely delivery of event materials, including programs, agendas, and other supporting documents • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute large-scale events, such as galas and award ceremonies Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, hospitality) • At least 5 years of experience in event planning or management • Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively • Familiarity with event planning software and tools (e.g., CVENT, Social Tables) • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends
