Event Planning Associate Director

The Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia is seeking a professional and experienced Event Planning Associate Director to join its team. The position involves creating and implementing an event strategy aligned with the school's mission and goals. You will manage the annual event calendar within a matrixed environment, provide support and resources to internal and external event... planners, and handle all logistics for events hosted by the Dean’s Office. Additional responsibilities include engaging with stakeholders and visitors, eliminating duplication of resources, and developing best practices for event planning. The successful candidate will have a degree plus at least four years of experience (or equivalent), including five years of strategic event planning and management, preferably in an academic environment.
