Duties • Oversee all aspects of banquet event setup, service, and breakdown to guarantee smooth operations from start to finish • Coordinate with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and special requests, ensuring clear communication throughout the planning process • Manage event timelines, staffing schedules, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and quality standards • Supervise banquet staff during events, providing guidance on guest service expectations and ensuring exceptional customer service at all times • Handle billing processes accurately to maintain profitability • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure catering meets quality standards and special dietary needs are accommodated • Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to uphold the venue’s reputation for hospitality excellence • Qualifications • Experience in banquet or event planning within a hospitality setting such as hotels, restaurants, or catering companies.
