Book, manage and coordinate all aspects of event planning including reservations, catering sales, and event services for events scheduled through the Student Center Event Planning Office. Manage day-to-day aspects of event planning including inquiries, problems or complaints from clients with respect to delivery and quality of the services and facilities provided to them. Coordinate reservations, catering sales and technical services ensuring that event contracts are accurate, complete, and timely. Work collaboratively with catering, set-up, audio-visual, custodial and other building staff to ensure that events are meeting departmental customer service standards, address any concerns, and make recommendations to Assistant Director of Event Planning and Conferences for improvements. Knowledge of event planning, conferences, and catering sales typically gained through a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
