Event Planning Intern

We are always looking to expand the diversity of our audience to match the makeup of Madison.The Jazz at Five Performance Series is hosted on the Capitol Grounds across from the Park Hotel. Our 2025 Performance dates are August 6th, 13th, 20, 27 and September 3rd. Intern must attend at least three of the five Performance Series concerts. Dates are August 6, 13, 20, 27 and September 3 at the State Capitol building.Salary/Wage Range:Monthly $300.00 to $600.00Number Of Positions1Position Summary/Job Duties:The Intern will be compensated for the entire internship based on evaluation in September.Responsibilities:Employee will be responsible for the following aspects of planning Jazz at Five eventsUpdating the Jazz media kit Updating Jazz Mailchimp Designing Series Program Brochure Updating Jazz social media Creating newsletter surveys On-site show work - setup and running the show Background information researchBenefits:Up to $100/month at the end of the internship Mostly Remote Work -Schedule is flexibleQualifications:Knowledge in event planning, canva and social media marketing preferredPhysical DemandsSetting up tables on site during concertsApplication Instructions:Please forward cover letter and resume to: [email protected]:Org: Jazz at Five, Inc.
