This role will provide leadership and guidance to the Events team, ensuring that the needs of clients, guests, and vendors are met with professionalism and care.Learn more about the great benefits of working for University of Utah: benefits.utah.eduThe department may choose to hire at any of the below job levels and associated pay rates based on their business need and budget.Responsibilities Respond to reservation inquires via phone, email, and in-person, and facilitate appropriate booking arrangements.Acts as a senior contact for the client and coordinates various series and subsequent changes.Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of event staff; provide ongoing guidance and task delegation.Assigns all duties relating to event activities; prepares checklists for cleaning and set-up of all event areas.
