Event Planning Manager

At the heart of Hyatt is our belief that hospitality is more than just a job - it's a career for people who care. This position acts as the liaison between Meeting Planners and the hotel staff. Event Planning Managers also are the on-site contacts and are responsible for the smooth execution of all events. Responsibilities • Administer the Sales agreement , • Detail all Food, Beverage, and A/V needs , • Manage room blocks and pick up , • Provide billing instructions , • Conduct final review of events , • Act as the liaison between Meeting Planners and hotel staff , • Ensure smooth execution of all events Requirements • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment , • Refined verbal and written communication skills , • Proficient in general computer knowledge , • Extremely detail-oriented and organized , • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment , • Two years of hotel experience or a completed Event Management trainee program
