HOTEL REVIVAL is hiring for a Event Planning Manager Hotel Revival is 107 key art-centric boutique hotel located in Baltimore's historic Mount Vernon neighborhood, home to 19th-century architecture, lush parks, iconic churches, galleries, restaurants, and cultural venues. It embodies Baltimore by showcasing local products, the city's history, and native cuisine. • Facilitate proper execution of all sales events you to ensure guest expectations are met and that the event runs smoothly and efficiently • Assist with site visits, pre-event and on-site communication with clients • Close out all events, ensuring payment accuracy across all platforms • Work with accounting + property management to resolve any final bill errors • Follow up with clients to assure quality of event, solicit next event, and source referrals • Send out weekly reports to the outlet(s) with upcoming events and staffing requests • Run monthly revenue reports to determine food and beverage minimums • Attend relevant meetings and assist with working + managing event shifts as needed • Help coordinate repair & maintenance issues with event spaces • Assist respective teams with phone support, staff duties or training, creating meeting agendas, etc. • Assist in the development and implementation of special projects as assigned goals and standards • Promote and encourage guest name recognition at all times with both internal and external guests • Proactively act as the outlet’s Brand Ambassador by attending networking functions, association meetings, • conventions, local business, and community events; build relationships with key stakeholders • Assist in any off-site events, including charitable and marketing events • Ensure open lines of communication with all departments and upper management at all times via email, logbooks, meetings, etc., to ensure all needs of the outlet are met
