Event Planning Manager

At the heart of Hyatt is our belief that hospitality is more than just a job - it's a career for people who care. This position acts as the liaison between Meeting Planners and the hotel staff. Event Planning Managers also are the on-site contacts and are responsible for the smooth execution of all events. Responsibilities • Administer the Sales agreement • Detail all Food, Beverage, and A/V needs • Manage room blocks and pick up • Provide billing instructions • Conduct final review of events • Act as the liaison between Meeting Planners and hotel staff • Ensure smooth execution of all events Requirements • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment • Refined verbal and written communication skills • Proficient in general computer knowledge • Extremely detail-oriented and organized • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment • Two years of hotel experience or a completed Event Management trainee program
