Develop comprehensive event plans, timelines, and proposals. Source, select, and manage vendors, including caterers, florists, entertainers, and audiovisual providers. Create detailed event budgets and ensure all activities remain within financial parameters. Oversee event logistics, including venue setup, décor, seating arrangements, and scheduling. Coordinate with on-site staff during events to ensure smooth execution. Manage client relationships, providing updates and addressing concerns throughout the planning process. Develop creative concepts and themes for events to enhance client experience. Conduct post-event follow-ups and gather client feedback for continuous improvement. Stay current with industry trends, venue capabilities, and best practices in event planning. Requirements Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event planning, preferably in a luxury or high-end venue setting. Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously from conception to completion. Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and client service skills. Proficiency in event planning software and Microsoft Office Suite. A creative mindset with a strong attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules. Experience working within the Milwaukee event market is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
