Join us for this incredible opportunity to be part of our Events team as a Remote Event Planning Manager at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. The position acts as the liaison between Meeting Planners and the hotel staff while creating confidence in the hotel with the meeting planner to ensure a successful event. In addition to the servicing and planning aspect of the position, this role is tasked with revenue generation through upselling food and beverage in banquets, meeting room rental, and miscellaneous other Revenue. The Event Planning Manager must be able to effectively sell the services (on property and through 1718 Events offsite) of the hotel, gain commitment from the customer, and work well with all departments to ensure that services are delivered as communicated to the client.
