Catering Coordinator Job Summary Our ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with experience in catering, events, or hospitality operations. This is a hands-on position that requires involvement across sales, operations, marketing, and client communication. • Input and maintain all event data including inquiries, holds, and confirmed bookings • Create detailed function sheets, captain packets, signage, and buffet menus • Assist with walk-throughs, tastings, and on-site event coordination • Assemble and manage organized event files (orders, invoices, contracts, etc.) • Process COI requests, track deposits, and support monthly invoicing and reporting • Prepare proposals and staffing requests for upcoming events • Collaborate with marketing to promote events and support sales efforts • Research vendors and sourcing options as needed • Coordinate internal communications to ensure all departments are aligned • Schedule appointments, meetings, and travel for the catering team • Provide outstanding service and communication to clients throughout their event journey • Additional duties as assigned to support the catering and restaurant teams
