The role of Event Producer at PRA is designed as a hybrid position requiring an average of two days per week in-office attendance, with candidates needing to be based in or near Colorado Springs. This position is pivotal in overseeing the logistical management and operational execution of client events and programs. The Event Producer serves as the primary client contact post-sale and is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction, fostering account retention, and maintaining alignment with program requirements. Working collaboratively with the Sales team, the Event Producer takes on the responsibility of managing program changes, negotiating and upselling opportunities, and ensuring that all contracts with suppliers and partners meet service and financial expectations. Financial oversight includes managing the expected gross margin for events and ensuring all deposits and billing are correctly processed.

Operationally, the Event Producer coordinates field staff work assignments, prepares and distributes trip sheets and other event documentation, and is involved in recruiting and training field staff. They ensure smooth onsite operations by managing field staff paperwork, inventories of uniforms and materials, and overseeing purchase needs. The role is comprehensive, requiring detailed preparation and management of program production paperwork, such as trip sheets, check requests, service agreements, invoicing, job costing, and expense reports. Collaboration extends to assisting Experience Designers with program development aligned to client specifications and ensuring seamless operation coordination with hotel and venue representatives. The Event Producer conducts pre-con meetings with clients and venues, keeps sales managers informed of all program developments, and takes corrective actions when necessary to guarantee successful delivery of client objectives.

PRA offers a competitive salary for the Event Producer role, ranging from $50,000 to $75,000 based on experience level.
