Event Production Manager – SoCo Women’s Chorus (Fall 2025 Season) Responsibilities Include (detailed responsibilities listed below): • Coordinating all production logistics for rehearsals and the performance, including staging, equipment, timelines, and budget tracking • Managing venue and vendor relationships (e.g., sound, lighting, risers) • Leading production meetings and creating run-of-show documents • Overseeing tech setup and strike, and troubleshooting during rehearsals and the concert • Recruiting and coordinating volunteers for backstage and front-of-house roles • Supporting ticketing, signage, lobby logistics, and audience experience • Serving as primary onsite production lead during concert weekend We’re Looking for Someone Who: • Has experience in event or production coordination, especially in the performing arts • Communicates clearly and calmly in fast-paced environments • Is comfortable with basic technical equipment or willing to manage those who are • Can lift/move moderate equipment or coordinate volunteers to assist • Brings a team-first mindset and inclusive, welcoming energy Production Planning & Coordination • Collaborate with the Artistic Director to develop comprehensive production plans, including staging requirements, equipment needs, production timelines, and overall logistics strategy. • Troubleshoot vendor or venue issues during technical rehearsals and performances.
