Event Production Manager

What we are looking for: This position will work closely with the Director of Operations to plan and execute a summer of special events. This role requires adaptability, cleverness, and confidence. The Event Production Manager will be on-site in the build-out and break-down of each event. • A passion for event planning and connecting with people in our community • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a related area and/or equivalent experience/training • 2-3 years of experience in event production, logistics, or detailed project management • Ability to be a self-starter and intrapreneur as well as the ability to work and collaborate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and volunteers • Embrace challenging and sometimes physical work in stressful environments • Be proactive, organized, and excel at multitasking • Expectation to work some nights and weekends from June – August and onsite at all events
