Reporting to the Director of Advancement, this part-time position will assist in the planning and execution of events, with a particular focus on our 50th Anniversary celebrations, programming around local journalism, and other events, as needed. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the planning and execution of the 50th Anniversary celebrations and related events, including identifying and securing venues, managing budgets, and coordinating logistics, ensuring they align with the organization's objectives and vision. • Work with vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure the success of events, managing contracts and partnerships. • At least one year of experience in event planning and project management. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
