You’ll interact directly with the public, introduce people to nonprofit programs and campaigns, answer questions, and encourage community participation and support.
This is an in-person, active position that’s a great fit for someone who enjoys meeting new people, communicating face-to-face, and working toward goals as part of a team.ResponsibilitiesRepresent nonprofit partners at community events and outreach locationsStart conversations with members of the public in a friendly and professional mannerProvide information about nonprofit programs, campaigns, and initiativesEncourage participation and support for fundraising campaignsHelp create a positive experience for community members and event attendeesAssist with event setup, organization, and breakdown when neededWork with team members to achieve daily and weekly goalsMaintain a professional and positive presence while representing nonprofit partnersQualificationsMust be at least 18 years oldStrong communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable speaking with new people in public settingsPositive attitude and professional demeanorReliable, punctual, and dependableSelf-motivated and goal-orientedAble to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamPrevious experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, promotions, sales, or fundraising is helpful but not requiredWillingness to learn CompensationPerformance-based pay structureTypical weekly earnings of $600–$900, depending on individual and team resultsPaid trainingGrowth OpportunitiesWe believe strong team members should have the opportunity to grow.
