Event Sales Coordinator

Key Responsibilities: • Sell venue space, sponsorships, and catering opportunities to potential clients • Work with clients to understand their event needs and develop creative solutions to meet those needs • Manage event logistics, including booking and coordinating vendors, scheduling deliveries, and setting up event spaces • Manage event budgets, ensuring that all expenses are within the budget • Manage event timelines, ensuring that all aspects of the event are executed in a timely manner • Oversee event staff and vendors, ensuring that they are performing their duties effectively • Handle customer service inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner • Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the sales and event planning process • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless event execution • Conduct site visits and tours with potential clients • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients, as well as identify and pursue new business opportunities • Track and report on event metrics, including attendance, revenue, and expenses • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure that events are innovative and successful Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, marketing, or a related field • At least 3-5 years of experience in event planning and coordination • Proven track record of successful event planning and execution • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint • Knowledge of event planning software and tools, such as Eventbrite and Trello • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required If you are a self-starter with a passion for sales and event planning, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
