High energy, organzied and polished guest-facing individual. Experience in selling and booking events, increasing event revenue through business development, and leading event execution. Duties and Responsibilities • Selling and booking events at both Austin High 5 locations • Planning, organizing, promoting, facilitating and coordinating different types of events • Participating in both inbound and outbound sales activities • Meeting and Exceeding Sales Goals • Monitoring and coordinating the timeline of an event • Preparing Event Orders • Coordinating with the kitchen and event server staff for menus & scheduling purposes • Providing guidance and information pertaining to the event to the clients • Preparing Event Invoices • Ensuring that all contractual obligations are met • Ensuring that quality client/customer standards are upheld at all times • Ensuring the event space is ready on time • Preparation of event contracts • Scheduling events and coordinating appointments • Creating and revising plans and layouts for different events • Liaising with the client to ensure that their needs are effectively met • Greeting clients at the start of Events for which you have some responsibility • Occasionally representing High 5 at offsite promotional events For the event coordinator to be able to job effectively, certain skills are required.
