Event Sales Coordinator

Responsibilities • Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and develop tailored proposals that highlight our venue’s unique offerings • Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue setup, catering arrangements, entertainment, and decor • Negotiate contracts with vendors, clients, and service providers to secure the best terms and ensure budget adherence • Promote upcoming events through targeted marketing strategies across various channels to maximize attendance and engagement • Upsell additional services such as premium catering options, event enhancements, or special packages to enhance client satisfaction and revenue • Manage event timelines meticulously to ensure seamless execution on the day of the event • Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a positive experience for all attendees Qualifications • Proven experience in event marketing, event planning, or hospitality roles such as banquet management or hotel operations • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful upselling and contract management • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines • Knowledge of catering operations, restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable • Familiarity with budgeting processes and cost control strategies for events • Experience with event marketing tools and platforms is a plus • Prior guest services or fundraising experience will be considered advantageous
