Event Sales Coordinator

Purpose: This position would assist with incoming sales calls and coordinating groups as well as performing front desk tasks, helping with breakfast and social hour in the evening as needed, and being a welcoming face for the hotel. *Hilton or hotel experience a plus* Responsibilities: Performs general duties including typing, dictation and answering telephone for sales and the front desk.Details BEO's for all meeting eventsProcesses all paper flow in and out of Sales management offices.Maintains a filing system of reports and pertinent records and keep accurate records of contacts, sales, and purchases.Provides professional and courteous guest service at all times.Be available on nights, weekends, and holidays.Qualifies all prospective leads.Meets with and maintains rapport with individuals and contacts in order to produce groups and/or convention business, to include guest room, meeting space, services and catering/banquet sales for both the group and transient markets.Attends all high-profile events hosted in the hotel.Schedules group rooms, conventions, and business group activities and meetings at the hotel.Enforces sales related policies and procedures.Develops and maintains client files.Prepares reports as outlined including, but not limited to Productivity Reports, Weekly Plans, Sales Call Reports, Market Share Analysis and Forecasts.Attends weekly staff, BEO, and revenue management meetings.Cross train with front desk staff and breakfast attendant staff to assist with guest interactions.All other duties as assigned by the Management Company.Benefits Hilton Team Member Travel DiscountsTuition Assistance ProgramEmployee Referral ProgramVision/Dental Insurance and more!Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
