Event Sales Manager

Role Description The Event Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Colorado Springs, CO, responsible for driving sales and managing events for The Mining Exchange Hotel. Experience in Event Planning and Event Management, with the ability to coordinate logistics, timelines, and client expectations for meetings, social events, weddings, and private functions.Strong Sales skills, including lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiation, and revenue optimization for group and event business.Effective Communication skills, with the ability to engage clients, collaborate with internal teams, and present information clearly in verbal and written form.Demonstrated success managing Private Events, such as weddings, celebrations, and corporate functions, ensuring high-quality guest experiences.Knowledge of hospitality or hotel operations and familiarity with event management or CRM software.Proven organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple events and deadlines.Ability to work on-site, build relationships in the local market, and occasionally work evenings, weekends, or holidays based on event needs.Previous experience in luxury hotel event sales, weddings or hospitality sales preferred; relevant education in hospitality, business, or a related field is beneficial.
