The Event Set-up Crew / Customer Service Representative responsibilities include setting up and breaking down event venues, ensuring all event elements are in place. • Ensuring all setup tasks are completed on time and to the specifications of the work order, lead worker, and client • Inspecting equipment and facilities for damage before and after use, and reporting any damage as necessary • Maintaining a clean and safe environment before, during, and after the event • Helping to maintain the 185 acres of the Oregon State Fairgrounds and Exposition Center • Following all safety guidelines to ensure the safety of crew members and event attendees • Identify safety concerns and report • Helping to direct event attendees in case of an emergency • Performing minor repairs on event equipment as necessary • Assisting in inventory management and control of event materials and equipment • Ability to learn to operate powered equipment as need (forklift, skid-steer/skid loader/ boom lift / aerial lift / chain saw / weed eater / tractor / golf carts / blowers) • Ability to drive on and off site when needed • May be required to work irregular hours as needed · Ability to work independently · Ability to learn to operate equipment as needed Benefits: • Flexible spending account • Health insurance
