Summary

The Event Setup Supervisor is responsible for overseeing & managing the setup and breaking down of all meeting spaces, and ensuring all meeting spaces are setup in a timely manner. Duties will include:

Delighting guests on a regular basis & interacting with clients regarding proper setup specifications of meeting spaces.Utilizing hotel daily group details to plan out & structure the day ensuring all spaces are setup and presentable to guests & clients.Working closely with the Events & Event Services teams to coordinate room sets, daily expectations, and timing.Following proper instructions to correctly setup & turn meeting spaces.Lifting a moderate amount of weight consistently throughout the day.Maintaining proper cleanliness of all meeting spaces & back of house areas.

Qualifications

Prior supervisory experienced preferred but not required.A true desire to satisfy the needs of othersRefined verbal communication skillsFlexible work availability must include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to stand/walk/be in motion for duration of shiftMust have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight throughout duration of shiftDetail oriented and able to follow instructions wellPrevious customer service experience preferred
