South Texas Conventions, LLC is seeking to hire Event Setup and Breakdown Crew to work as part of our team on the following days/times:

Wednesday, September 30 (11:00AM - 8:00PM)Thursday, October 1 (12:00PM - 8:00PM)Sunday, October 2 (6:00PM - 9:00PM)Job Summary:

We’re looking for enthusiastic, dedicated, and dependable individuals to be part of our Event Setup and Breakdown Crew for Anime Fiesta 2026. This role is essential to ensuring a smooth event setup and bringing our event to life!

Responsibilities

Assist with event move-in, setup, and breakdown, including loading, unloading, setting up, and placing equipment and decorPerform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting (up to 40 pounds repeatedly)Help create a welcoming, safe, and organized environment for all attendees, guests, and vendorsCollaborate with other crew members to ensure safe and smooth operationsRequirements

Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly and work on your feet for extended periods.Comfortable with physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow both written and verbal directions.Positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and ability to remain calm under pressure.Previous event setup and breakdown experience is a plus!Pay: $8.00 per hour
