Event Setup Crew Member

About the Role Chrome Events is hiring dependable team members to help prepare, deliver, install and break down event rental equipment throughout South Florida. Prepare and stage rental pieces for upcoming events Pull, count, inspect and organize equipment Load and unload trucks at the warehouse and event locations Assist drivers during deliveries, installations and pickups Set up and break down furniture and event equipment Follow floor plans and instructions from drivers and supervisors Wrap, stack and handle equipment safely Count and verify equipment during deliveries and pickups Return rental pieces to the proper warehouse location Report missing, damaged or improperly prepared equipment Maintain clean trucks, warehouse areas and workspaces Assist with basic cleaning, repairs and equipment maintenance Must be at least 18 years old Must be bilingual in English and Spanish Must have dependable transportation to and from the warehouse Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions Must be reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a team Previous event, warehouse, moving, delivery, construction or installation experience is helpful but not required Regularly lift, carry, push and pull heavy equipment Lift approximately 70 pounds or more with assistance when needed Stand, walk, bend, kneel and work physically for extended periods Work indoors, outdoors and in non-climate-controlled warehouse conditions Work early mornings, evenings, overnight breakdowns, weekends and holidays as scheduled
